Overdrive is a two-part animated series tied-in with Team Sonic Racing and created in collaboration with Tyson Hesse and Neko productions. In a new Sonic the Hedgehog Twitch livestream panel, a new customization trailer for Team Sonic Racing, as well as an announcement trailer and first part for the Team Sonic Racing. Much like the Sonic Mania Adventures miniseries, Team Sonic Racing Overdrive soon became a fan-favourite - even when this miniseries was only 2 episodes long, although the episodes were considerably longer than the previously released miniseries. Today Sega hosted a panel at SXSW in dedicated to the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and they also announced Team Sonic Racing Overdrive. The Voiceless: Much like Sonic Mania Adventures, no dialogue is heard in these shorts-the actions the characters do speak for them.Everything that was good about part one is good about part two in Team Sonic Racing Overdrive.Near the end we can see Sonic pulling a Bunny Ears Picture Prank on the red echidna. Team Sonic Racing Overdrive was the result of that campaign and, much like the Sonic Mania Adventures, it was also made into a miniseries - produced and directed by Yukio Kusumoto and Taylor Hesse, respectively - that, once again, featured no dialogue but managed to fully capture the essence of the series.
